The room was big , clean and comfortable. A nice bathroom, with hot water, good stream, we like it. The manger , Paulo, is wonderful with huge heart, who always want to help, to make you feel happy. He make us feel like home . He gave us a lot of information on the area and Portugal. He like to talk and we learn a lot of things from him

Too much to describe in words. All I can say is that I felt like we stayed with relatives, everything was absolutely spot on, especially when things didn't go according to plan and both the hosts and staff were delightful. The room is spacious and very comfortable. The food was also good, we had dinner to celebrate an anniversary. My partner bought the romantic package and we had a flower bouquet, champagne and strawberries with chocolate waiting for us in the bedroom. They also brought two cocktails after. My partner was expecting also flower petals throughout the room but we didn’t have that.

Our Standard double room with small balcony & breakfast was great, we had a spectacular view of the Rio Corgo Gorge which was enhanced at night by floodlights. Our room came with breakfast, a comfortable bed, air conditioning, shower over the bath, TV, wardrobes and a small fridge. The balcony was large enough for us both to sit outside and enjoy an afternoon beverage. The hotel has 2 indoor pools the larger being 16 metres long, a very well equipped modern gym and outdoor sun leaners on the terrace and by the pool. The staff were great, very accommodating to our needs and friendly. We based ourselves here to visit the Douro Valley (no car) and being an easy 900 metre walk to the bus station to get to Regua, the valley and the MiraDouro Train made that easy. Great location.

We booked this room late due to a change of plan and it was wonderful to have the opportunity to stay in this special place. The distant views over the Douro vineyards and the infinity pool were amazing. The room was really clean, modern, and spacious. Our host was very friendly and a delicious breakfast was served in the well appointed dining room.
