The location was amazing! The Hotel is right by the sea and all the bedrooms and common areas are built to enjoy the view. The bar, the breakfast room and the pool let you enjoy Pico all day long. Each room has an individual balcony so you can enjoy the sunset! The staff is always very helpful and kind! And you can have crepe with Nutella for breakfast!

An absolutely amazing stay! The location is unbeatable, with breathtaking views of Pico Mountain. It’s conveniently close to small grocery shops and charming restaurants, making everything easily accessible. The breakfast was delicious and a perfect start to the day. This hotel provided the ideal setting to relax and recharge. I loved every moment and will definitely return!

It’s something really special. Remote in a most beautiful natural part of the world. 20 minute hike, or 5 minute lift on a quad, and you are in paradise. Mountains on one side and wide wild sea on the other. The houses are rebuilt from ruins - have all the commodities but with character. The staff are outstanding. Swimming in the pools, the little sauna, the 15 min hike to lovely dinner nearby. This was pure back to nature and relaxation.

Hotel Os Moinhos is located in São Jorge Island, with views over the highest mountain in Portugal, sited in nearby Pico Island.

Huge apartment right in the town, a few minutes walk to the supermarket and to the main hotel where we had breakfast and could use the pool. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and called us a taxi when we wanted to come back from a walk early, helped us with a hire car, and arranged a taxi to the airport. The beds were comfortable, it has a lovely living room and kitchen. The kitchen has basic cookware, it could do with some oven trays etc to make the most of having the kitchen. Everything is very new and clean.

Boasting accommodation with a rooftop pool, quiet street view and a patio, Cantinho D'Avenida is situated in Velas. This apartment offers barbecue facilities.

We truly enjoyed a lovely stay in this place within a beautiful park. The room was very nice and extremely clean, and the bathroom is spacious with high-quality products. Despite its proximity to the airport, it was quiet. The warm welcome and kind-hearted staff created a pleasant experience. The breakfast was a highlight with its local island delicacies and homemade treats. The mansion's blend of historic charm and modern comfort was truly stylish, since it's a house, dating back to the 17th century, which has been meticulously restored. The hosts, Graça and Catarina, attended to every single detail, ensuring our stay was truly pleasant. The outdoor space, featuring an 18th-century garden with a modern pool and a view of Pico, was a delight. Highly recommended!
