Great location, recently renewed, and very friendly hosts. There's a good river beach 10min walking, and the swimming pool is pleasantly warm during summer. If you are on a workation, the included wifi works great.

We stayed at this hotel yesterday and we highly recommend it. The hotel is located next to the Panda Gersh Reserve, the view and surroundings are all beautiful green nature, the room is large and clean, the hotel owners are charming and helpful people who provide a warm family-friendly atmosphere. We will not forget the rich breakfast that also included french products, made by the owner. . It is highly recommended to stay and enjoy this excellent hotel.

Amazing place to stay with a lovely pool, games room and even a dog to keep you company. A park and football pitch to keep the children happy and entertained. The apartment was clean with air conditioning and everything you need to be self catering. The rooms had a fridge to keep some bits in and it's own bathroom. Staff very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Close to Braga and Porto, supermarket is only 10 minutes away.

I loved the pousada! The facility is fantastic and a joy to walk around, both the grounds and the building. The staff was so helpful and welcoming, from the front desk to the dining room. I felt welcomed and cared for. I would absolutely stay here again and will tell anyone I know traveling in Portugal to stay here!

We absolutely loved our stay at Leiras do Tempo Cottages! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by Henrique, the co-owner of the lodging. He explained everything clearly and accompanied us to our cottage. The cottage was beautiful, clean, comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. It is located in a paradise-like setting surrounded by beautiful mountains and the views were breathtaking. The staff is also very friendly and kind. Helena, the other co-owner, was wonderful too. She baked us a cake for our 33rd wedding anniversary! Finally, the food was excellent- the breakfast was abundant with home-made jams with locally sourced fruits, fresh home-made cheese and wonderful juices. The home-made cake on Sunday was equally delicious! We had dinner at the restaurant on site (O Abocanhado) and we highly recommend it. We had a peaceful and wonderful stay at Leiras do Tempo Cottages. It is the perfect location to rest and to explore the National Park of the Gerês.

The property was perfect, very clean and fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and enjoyable family stay. The pool and BBQ area were great for relaxing and spending family time together. There were also many fun activities for the kids to keep them entertained, including swings, a bouncy castle, and lots of board games. Our lovely hostess waited until we arrived, very late, to show us around and give us the keys. The property was immaculate and very comfortable (and big beds!). Private jacuzzi plus pool shared with a couple of other properties run by same host in private garden. Very quiet and lovely views. The local baker drives by 6 mornings a week selling fresh bread, rolls and pastries! We would definitely go back!

We were planning to stay in the area of Geres National Park. We found this place and we were so happy about it. The place is located in a very small village - so if you need to buy stuff, there is a place 15 minutes away. The house itself is very well maintained, everything is new, fully equiped kitchen, washing machine and dryer. The swimming pool was so great in a hot day. Very large living room with a huge TV.
