First of all the responses and replies from Paula and Marcia were excellent, prompt and informative. Never have we seen such quick responses any time of the day...I was -4hr GMT. The apartment was clean and comfortable...All amenities for a comfortable stay was available. .They were there to greet us and explained everything in detail. They arranged a nice, must visit, cheese making factory. The breakfast was excellent. Looking forward to our next trip. Thanks once again Paula and Marcia...you made our New Year Bright! Highly recommended.

This was the nicest place we stayed in Portugal. The house is gorgeous, and every view from the windows felt like a fairy tale. The location is convenient for hiking, with trailheads that are walking distance from the house. The breakfast that is provided is huge, and the bread was fresh-baked. However, I would probably arrive with some groceries for snacks, because the nearest full grocery store is in Seia. I think the only dinner option in town is at the resort, which is excellent and well-priced. The chef came out and gave us her recipe for the rice cooked in orange, which we are looking forward to trying out. All of the staff we interacted with were lovely, and Nuno especially was so helpful. The drive to the house was a little tricky, and he led us there so that we could navigate the turns. He had excellent advice about hiking as well.

Beautiful location. The grounds were very well tended to. The staff were helpful and professional. The breakfast was excellent. Free firewood was freshly stocked each day in a basket outside the cottage. Even our dogs were treated well.

Super hotel, wonderfull location. ( a bit scary to enter the small streets of the village by car but it is manageable and common to typical portuguese villages, especially in the mountains. Very clean and comfortable rooms, nice swimming pools, you can reserve (incl in your room rate) the indoor spa and pool for 30 min in private. Staff are very helpfull and attentive. Our dog got as well a welcom gift. Not far from the hotel you can do some hiking in the forest. A very relaxing stay during our trip to the south of Portugal.

The location is great, very short walk to the city centre. The apartment is modern, bright and spacious. The swimming pool is very pretty and amazing for the hot days. The staff is super friendly and try to help as much as possible.

The venue is amazing, on top of the mountain with a nice view on the Seia valley. The hotel is super modern and design oriented (with a scandivian touch). The staff was absolutely professional, gentle and available for all requests. The garden with swimming pool (2) was absolutely stunning and the Spa very nice and clean.

Very very very friendly staff, indoor swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool, fully equipped kitchen, and the kids lived the game room with snooker and table soccer. Great to roam around the farm, lake and see the animals

Location was good, the room was clean and nice but above all I must recognize the great & helpful hospitality. we use the hotel as our base for 2 days hiking in the area and found it as central place to meet our expectations. they have small and nice swimming pool even the weather didn't allow us to use it. Breakfast is served and it is good.

Lovely friendly small hotel. Comfortable bed. Well located for walking into old town for restaurants. Good base for exploring Serra da Estrella national park. Has a lovely swimming pool (though not used as visited in winter). Great breakfast. Thanks!
