We arrived in Piódão after dark, but with the help of the short guiding video, we easily found the house. The house is very close to the excellent restaurant O Fontinha. The house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Kitchen, dishes, stove, spices, cooking equipment (although we didn’t use the most of it), gas heater for the water, coffee machine, TV, internet 🛜, games, and probably more than I can remember. The house was clean and cozy, providing a really comfortable stay. The view from the house is stunning. Highly recommended place to stay!

Such a beautiful place to stay, I absolutely love being secluded in nature and this whole area was stunningly beautiful and very peaceful. It was easy to find and the instructions were all excellent, parking was convenient as well. Maybe not the best area to stay in for those who lack mobility but for everyone else, I would highly recommend staying here. Sadly, we didn't stay for long so didn't get the full experience, I'm sure it's even better for longer stays. There was a really friendly cat which made things even more enjoyable and also upon entrance to the house, you are greeted with a really nice smell, very pleasant touch! The host is incredibly friendly and very helpful.

What a place! We have spent a lot of nights in different places, but never ever seen anything like this. The house is amazing, the welcome was better than anyone can expect. Right at the end of a dead end street in the most remote, tiny and quiet village, there is this beautiful restored house with breath taking views over the valley. Everything, but really everything was thought of and better than ever seen before. If you plan to go to this area, and you like remote places, this house is a must stay! The land lady (sorry, we forgot her name) lives just around the corner, and welcomed us with such a friendliness and passion for her house and the surroundings. I am sure we will be back one day. Very nice hotel with beautiful views. We stayed in a junior suite with was very comfortable with huge bathroom and private balcony. Very good bed and spacious room. Staff was welcoming and trough out our 3 night stay attentive. Great area for hiking our just relaxing at the large outdoor pool. Food in the restaurant was very good and affordable. We were very happy to choose this accommodation in rural Portugal.

Amazing place in a beautiful setting with super helpful staff who clearly take pride in this wonderful experience. Pools are lovely and relaxing with lots of different areas of bubbles / jets / saunas/ steam room etc. rooms are a good size and very comfortable. Food is amazing with lots of choices ( we are vegetarian) and the even the breakfast coffee tastes lovely! ( unusual!)

Everything I read in previous reviews here was absolutely true. Every little piece is beautiful and made with love. Staying here is a fantastic experience! The views from the house are even more spectacular than on photos. On the territory you feel like in the middle of the nowhere, but the town with a lot of supermarkets is just in 3km.

The breakfast is not included but the extra 6.5 euros are very worth it. You also have a full kitchen at your disposal if you want to do it yourself. The location is great, and you can get to Serra da Estrela in around 30min. The rooms are very spacious and they all include private bathroom.
