Lovely bungalows tucked away in nature, just outside Madalena—perfectly located. The bungalows were spot on: clean, cozy, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped. The team at Alma do Pico was incredibly friendly and gave us lots of great tips. Breakfast was delivered to our door each morning, always fresh and made with care.

We had a nice and comfortable room with a little basket of fruits for your welcome. The room had a nice balcony with a view to the harbour and Faial. In a minute you can reach the harbour and the city centre. There is a cleaning service everyday (if you need it). The breakfast buffet is really big and has a lot of offerings (they even had soy milk and milk without lactose; lots of bread, ham, cheese, cereals with different seeds, lots of fruits, many cakes, eggs, beans and so on...). The staff is very polite. We are not used to big hotels and normally stay at smaller/simpler places so we missed nothing at all.

Excellent breakfast, many options. Also loved the location and that there was a pool which my grandson used almost everyday. The apartment was clean and towels were changed everyday. Any issues were quickly dealt with.

We enjoyed our stay so much. The accomodation was well equipped, super clean and also the surroundings fabulous. We felt so welcome and also the super nice welcome basket with local products was so kind and lovely. It is also a great starting point exploring the island and we really appreciated that it is not far away from the airport and ferry. We can recommend 100% and would have loved to stay longer!
