An absolutely exceptional accomondation, it might've easily been the best hotel I've ever been to. It certainly beated even all five-star ones on my list at the moment. The room was amazing, spacious and comfortable. The bed was perfect (and big, too). The area is scenic, the breakfast is delicious. The hotel restaurant and the bar offer really good food and drinks.

Very nice hotel. The room was big with its own bathroom. I loved the big bathtub! And the view from the balcony (3rd floor) was so beautiful. I highly appreciate that there was a cattle with two cups and tea (black and green) as well as a big beautiful bottle of local mineral water in the room. The tea and water were refilled every day when the maids cleaned up the room. The bedding sheets smelled fresh and the bed was big and comfortable. There was also an extra blanket if you feel chilly. There was a really nice chain of lights attached to the wall behind the bed that gave a cozy light. Additionally, there were two table lamps on each side of the bed and a big room light. The balcony had two curtains, one see through curtain to keep insects out and a thick curtain to keep the room dark at night. They did a good job. A second pool was being renovated while I was there which should be ready to be used in July 2023. I didn't get to use the pools because the weather was too chilly and sun and rain alternated too often, so I preferred the hot springs in the city instead, but in the peak of summer they would be really nice to have. The hotel was super quiet and the staff was friendly and speaks fluent English and French. I really enjoyed my stay. I don't understand why this hotel has only 1 star. It should be at least 2, if not 3. I highly recommend this place.

It was perfect place for us as a couple. We loved their cats and beautiful dog. Place is close to Furnas which is nice if you are planning to go there. Everything was clean and nice. There is a nice terasse to sit outside with an ocean view. It is humid, but all the island is humid, so nothing to complain about.

This is not the first time my husband and I have vacationed at this hotel. We went again this year with purpose and were absolutely satisfied. Super attentive staff, clean rooms, service, incredibly beautiful view, amazing food and in general, the Azoreans are very hospitable people. They simply won our hearts. The hotel is located on a cliff on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean and the views from the windows are fantastic! At night we slept with the windows open and listened to the sound of the waves and the singing of the kagaro night bird. Also on site there is a swimming pool, sauna, bar, and a very beautiful lawn terrace where you can do yoga or watch the sunset. There is even a tennis court and a beach nearby. Very beautiful park area. This is our happy place. We will definitely come back here more than once; we have pleasant memories and it’s very sad to leave there. Big thank you ❤️!

Everything was extraordinary from the very beginning. They propose 2 options of breakfast: 7-11 exceptionnel buffet which variety hard to explain and the 2nd option is continental breakfast all day long and the choice is up to your plans every day. Swimming pools, sauna, hammam are incredible and with out access limit. The pay real attention to the environment, no plastic.

Good and varied breakfast. Wonderful interior and is very comfortable. Huge outdoor hot spring ''spa pool (or nearly a small lake...) where guests can swim in the dark and watch the stars!

The thermal pools were excellent, it was great to have a mix of different temperatures and indoor and outdoor pools. Amazing to have with the changing weather! It was a peaceful location, in particular swimming in the outdoor pool amongst luscious green hills! The staff were incredible, they really went above and beyond to make our stay for our honeymoon special. We would definitely return to Octant Furnas!

Great secluded quiet location close to the center of the city (walking distance) and main attraction of the Furnas hot springs. Intimate location with only 5 rooms, immersed in jungle type small park, with swimming pool to relax. No service on site, breakfast is in the fridge with kitchenette at disposal, with fresh bread left by the door each morning.

Incredible facilities, the indoor and outdoor swimming pools cannot be missed and are open 24/7. The spa was great, Micaela and Andreia were so welcoming, kind and professional.
