It’s an old property with history, from 1888. It’s a part of Rural Accomodation Association, so you get real experience. Hosts are very welcoming and helpful people, whatever you need they will try their best. House was great! If you like original furntiture and design, this is the place. But it’s still modern - you have fridge, microwave, washing machine, kettle etc. and warm water in the shower doesn’t end. Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is in a beautiful pool area with everything you need for breakfast - stuff for sandwiches, local cheese and butter, bacon, cereal and fresh pressed juice. Pool area has a lot of beach chairs and there’s huge bathroom with showers to take a bath after swim (and also there are outside showers). There’s also a terrace from which you can see even better the ocean. On the property there’s also a vineyard and you can taste the wine if you are at a good time. It’s also nicely located to explore whole island and there was no problem to park outside the house.

It's a nice hotel with a good location, as you can reach all the sites very quickly. We have decided for this hotel, as in this time of the year (stayed December, over Christmas) the weather is not always good. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool and a sauna. We used them every day. The gym is also well equipped. We stayed in an appartment and did not use the restaurant facilities. The room view was towards the outdoor pool, but right and left, we had nice views towards mountains and the ocean. Generally, it was a wet side, so we couldn't get the swimming suites dry on the balcony.

Just excellent, one of the best hotels I've ever stayed. The room is amazing, all new, with a huge bed, super clean, with a very nice balcony with views to the pool and the palm trees. A little paradise. There are cookies, tea, coffee and a fridge in the room. The staff is very friendly and polite. Free parking and amazing breakfast in a relaxing atmosphere. Very good location just 15 min from Ponta Delgada and around 30 min to all the best places of the island. I couldn't have asked for more!

Beautiful renovated house, full of history! Related to the Botanical garden of Ponta Delgada, which is right next door. The rooms were very comfortable and cozy. Staff was friendly and helpful. We spent New years and the views to the bay and fireworks was unbeatable! We would definitely come back again 😊

It’s an old property with history, from 1888. It’s a part of Rural Accomodation Association, so you get real experience. It's a nice hotel with a good location, as you can reach all the sites very quickly. We have decided for this hotel, as in this time of the year (stayed December, over Christmas) the weather is not always good. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool and a sauna. The location is excellent with unobstructed views over the wild atlantic ocean. The remote controlled gated entry is a touch of luxury as is the driveway length koi pond. Loads of space inside and out. The pool was cold, though they had a hot tub which allowed cold swimming and then warming up after. I got quite addicted to my morning cold plunges! All the rooms have beautiful views and are enormous.

It's awesome. Quiet and beautiful. Large rooms and very kind owners. Super breakfast overlooking the swimming pool and the hills. I wish I had booked the entire week there. The images are not as good as the place really is.

Overall a decent place with a nice outdoor and indoor pool, as well as spa facilities. The sauna and Turkish bath were an extra bonus. Good bar, although I found the breakfast a little bit overpriced. The rooms are starting to show their age and the soundproofing is not up to modern standards. The grounds are well kept and there is ample parking. Location is relatively good in a quiet part of the island. Nice views overlooking the car park. Staff are kind, professional and courteous.

The houses were very old with old furniture which helped maintain its character. Very quirky and cute. A beautiful breakfast area with views of the swimming pool and mountains and sea. Best breakfast in Azores. Fresh fruit from their garden. Very friendly Anselmo and his wife.

The staff was amazingly kind. The indoor swimming pool water was super nice (28-29 C degrees). Coffee at breakfast was great (Nespresso pods). They provided vegan options at my request.

The facilities were great! The apartment was well equipped, we had everything we need to cook our meals. The staff was super nice and always available to help. Since we were traveling with kids, the game room, mini-golf and swimming pool were a big hit. We were in a lovely, quiet location. Overall, we had a really nice stay.
