Such lovely and relaxed owners. Even though it wasn’t necessary, Matthijs picked me up from the station after returning my bike. Also, I was supposed to travel with a friend but he fell ill. They removed some of the price, even though I didn’t inform them beforehand. Really kind. Room and breakfast were exceptional. There’s a living room with all kinds of facilities and coffee and tea 24/7.

I liked everything about this hotel. The location is really nice; all you hear are birds. Breakfast is good, there's a lot of choice and you can also enjoy it outside. Rooms are clean and quiet. The staff (in hotel and restaurant) is very friendly. The weather was a bit chilly, but because the pool is heated I could swim anyway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with our family of 4 (2 teens). The service was impeccable. Genuinely caring and thoughtful staff. Knowledgeable about the surroundings, food and wines. We had drinks in the lounge with a roaring fire and there were boardgames to play. The head-chef is such a great human. Spent time talking to our family about the wildlife and accommodated to our daughters on food. The rooms were well appointed. Slightly warm for our taste but was easily adjustable. The surrounding grounds are well kept, with great walking paths. There are bikes on site as well. There is a great pool (1.40) that is heated to 28 degrees. We didn't swim in it as there was a storm, but we would have gladly done so otherwise. The poolhouse allows for changing right next to the pool and in the summer months they serve light snacks there as well. We will definitely come back!

Beautiful hotel, fantastic restaurant, small but lovely spa and surrounded by nature….what more could we ask for. Well for us, the staff made our stay memorable. We stayed here for one night on a family cycle tour of the Netherlands it was a really cosy place to stay with a great kitchen and bathroom. I cycled into Biddinghuizen to get takeaway pizza's about 15 mins each way by bike. the perfect stay
