If you are in Leon take the time to spend a few days at Las Peñitas at Nuevo NAYAL! It’s stunning and beautifully designed. Everything feels new! The spanish couple who set up this place are so kind and welcoming. They have created a true oasis to escape the heat of the city and I couldn’t have had a better 3 nights stay here to round off my trip in Nicaragua. The food is brilliant as well at the restaurant. I ate all my meals there as they were too good! And the staff went out of their way to help me with laundry and tours etc. It’s definitely one of the best, if not the best place to stay in Las Penitas.

Breakfast was really good. Excellent pancakes light and fluffy...I asked for fruit as an an extra which was no trouble for the chef. We met the owners who couldnt have been more helpful, accommodating and friendly.

I loved the cabin, the place, and the atmosphere. Everything was very comfortable and well-maintained. The place was clean, well-located, and had everything needed for a pleasant and relaxing stay. best hotel we’ve seen in León. Beautiful, comfy room, there was a little gym. beautiful pool!! was a great find! perfect for travels or a romantic break. I would go back here in a heartbeat. Owner was very friendly!
