We had two different rooms because we extended our stay. The first (#5) was close to the pool and better / more private than the second one (#6). The hotel is set 200 meters back from the beach which we liked but some might prefer to be right on the beach. When you get to the beach you are at the far end of the busy part of the beach. Turn left and there's a gorgeous stretch of almost totally deserted soft white sand with warm crystal clear water. Turn right and it's the same beach, but it gets gradually busier, and soon you get to the village of Ramena where you'll find dozens of small restaurants serving excellent seafood. The hotel also has a small swimming pool which is nice for cooling off. It's easy to arrange excursions from there. We went to the Montagne des Francais - it's well worth the effort to climb to the summit where you have a stunning 360 degree view of the bay. You can also walk to Baie des Dunes and Baie des Pigeons - it's a hot sweaty walk but totally doable. However, despite all the fuss about the Trois Baies, the beach at Orangea which is just around the headland from Ramena has got to be one of the nicest beaches in the world.

Great location, out of crowded Diego on the way to Ramena beach so easyly reachable from both sides and great starting point for trips. Personal including management is amazing, helpful and realy friendly. Our stay ws really great! Highly recommended!!

This place is the ultimate little hidden gem for a peaceful tranquil holiday. Situated in a very special place. The Chef produces the most delicious fresh food. The staff are all wonderful.

Great hotel with fabulous staff in a great location not far from the town center. Great and clean rooms with beautiful vieuw over the bay. Swimming Pool is very nice and clean. Great Hotel !!

There were wild crowned lemurs roaming around. Great to see. Food was great and good price. Air con in the room was much needed. Pool and the view… second to none!
