We enjoyed everything. The property, staff, food and service were all exceptional. We were looked after incredibly well by Ishan and his team. A highlight was an impromptu pool-side cooking class run by Kayaam’s chef, Namal. We can’t wait to come back - a bucket list place to stay.

Absolutely charming boutique hotel, ideal for a family or a couple vacation! It’s located on a private beach with soft waves, so we could swim easily with my small kid. The pool is stunning. The food and cocktails are lovely! Special thanks to Zander, the owner, for his personal attention to all guests and control and care of all details during our stay. And Loki dog is our big love. Thank you for our amazing stay! We’ll definitely come back again.

We enjoyed our stay here :) apartment was clean and comfortable. Host was very nice and helpful. He recommend us a lot of places where to go and what to do and rented us a scooter. We had delicious breakfast every morning. Beautiful beach is just a few meters away. You can’t swim because of big waves but you can walk and see turtles. A lot of good restaurants is around. It is also suitable for longer stays. We stayed for a whole week. You will have everything you need here :) we really recommend.

It is in a very quiet area, 10 minutes walk to the beach. The rooms are spacious, very clean, very well ventilated (the air is very clean, not like other accommodations in Sri Lanka). The garden is very beautiful and well maintained. The pool is chic and very clean, the water has a perfect temperature. The owners are very friendly and always willing to help you. They can cook you a delicious, fresh dinner, cooked on the spot, or they can organize various excursions in the area (safari, temple visit, kayaking on the lagoon, etc.). The breakfast is rich and very tasty, with fruit from the owners' garden. The atmosphere in the area is very quiet, there are not many tourists, you can meet locals which gives the place a truly authentic atmosphere.

Definitely one of my favorite stays in all of Sri Lanka. The location is everything and the staff is so kind and careing. I stayed for two nights to enjoy a birdwatching tour on Kalamitya Bird Sanctuary and when I got back I got an amazing breakfast. Furthermore the swimming pool area is fabulous with excellent sunbeds and service around. The view is stunning. The hotel itself, unusual to most places in Sri Lanka, is very well decorated. That will include some interesting historical pictures hanging on the wall, gorgeous wooden colors and very well designed bathrooms. I would definitely advice this place to anybody visiting this part of Sri Lanka. I read something about stray dogs. If you're not into stray dogs probably you shouldn't visit Sri Lanka at all. They were harmless and cute at least at this place and no more then three
