We spend 2 nights here to visit the Diyaluma Waterfall (you can walk from here) - and it was so nice. The house is in the forest, surrounded by lush green! We booked the budget doubleroom. Its a small but new and superclean room which has a waterkettle. The privat bathroom is new and has a door for the shower. The shared terrace in front of the room is so nice and cozy - we spent hours in the hammock, listening to the birds and enjoying the jungle view. There is a small river just in the garden where you could swim. You can see monkeys, lots of birds, squirrels and (if you are lucky) even snakes. For the host: the staff was excellent! Kalairaj was very kind and made sure we felt comfortable. He made us coffee and tea and refilled out waterbottles by the waterfilterstation attached to the house. He cooked us dinner, which was served on the terrace (for a very good price!). Thank you!

Haputale is a lot nicer than for instance Ella- quiter, less tourists, perfect hiking, etc. And Vantage Hills have a breath taking view of the valley below. The staff is the kindest people possible.

Liked everything…staff were brilliant, so helpful and caring. Our paddy view room was really lovely, comfortable bed and great bathroom. Pool was fantastic, 25m long and very clean and warm. We had half board and both breakfast and dinner were excellent. Loved the location, just wish we’d booked and extra night to explore the surrounding area.

Our stay at Andriyala was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, the friendly and attentive staff made us feel right at home. The beautiful garden surrounding the property added a serene and picturesque ambiance, perfect for relaxation. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful stay. Every detail seemed thoughtfully curated, making it truly worth every penny. One of the highlights of our visit was the candlelight dinner by the pool deck, accompanied by a cozy bonfire. The setting was romantic and intimate, enhanced by the delectable meals prepared with care and creativity. Andriyala is a haven of tranquility and luxury. Highly recommended! Short this.

The exceptional stylish and comfortable accommodation and beautiful gardens complimented the stunning views to Horton Plains NP , Udawalawe reservoir and the south coast . You awake each morning to the sound of birds while during the day it is so peaceful and relaxing . Thankfully no aircon needed here since the very fine insect screens allowed windows to be open to enjoy the fresh mountain air. We stayed in the deluxe suite downstairs which now has an additional dining area , and there are 3 lovely rooms upstairs . See the gorgeous pictures online . You can take a dip in the lovely pool or the owner Munira can suggest and help arrange other activities in the surrounding areas. Having driven for 5 weeks, this was a perfect spot to unwind . It was lovely to chat with Muni who built this wonderful property and all the staff who extended friendly and caring hospitality . Our best stay in Sri Lanka . Thank you Muni!

Absolutely beautiful location and villa. I’ve stayed in a lot of villas in Sri Lanka and this is hands down the best. We had transport problems and the host and owner were so understanding and accommodating. One of the best weekends of our lives, would 10000% recommend to anyone.

We loved our forest pavilion room! It had such a lovely view and the room was very romantic and had everything you needed. The swimming pool was also great with an amazing view! Next time we’re in Sri Lanka we will definitely be coming back! They do a drink at 19:30 where all the guests join and socialise, we really liked that. The staff is also really friendly. We were travelling by tuktuk and had some problems and without hesitation the helped us and within minutes we were ready to go again.

The grounds of the hotel are enormous and beautiful. The hotel also has very few rooms so it is a very peaceful setting. Staff is very welcoming. The infinity pool is gorgeous and the views magnificent. Hotel grounds has a private waterfall (it's a bit of a walk away...) which is really nice and peaceful. Dinner was delicious

It is an amazing place! Absolutely beautiful scenery and feels very remote. We stayed in a forest pavilion (like a tree house) which we loved (despite it being very rainy!). We read lots of debrief about the animals / wildlife in the rooms but we did not have any. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious. The pool is amazing and has the most incredible view! We walked down to the waterfall a couple of times but there isn’t loads to do so two nights for us was perfect.

By far our favourite stop in Sri Lanka, the setting is amazing, photos don’t do it justice. Every little detail is considered but not over the top. All the staff were very kind, friendly and made a real effort to make our stay as good as possible. Definitely do the nature walk to the waterfall and enjoy the infinity pool - probably the best we’ve ever swam in!

Gorgeous place Amazing staff that will go out of their way to ensure you have a great time We opted for the 3 course meal and they did up the table decor and the food so well. The rooms are spacious, the staff is well aware of the flora and fauna of the property. The guided walk towards their private waterfall and the pool area are all amazing
