Nice and quiet setting in a farms area, although a bit far from the sea for those looking for beach holiday. For us was just fine as we enjoy daily long walks to discover the area. We had both breakfast and dinner. Very tasty, regards to the cook! The room has plenty of space to move around. We appreciated the high ceilings (had the upper floor) and nice views with palm trees canopy from the balcony.

The place was so clean and peaceful.Newly renovated. Although really close to the kite surfing lagoon, its a truly beautiful area A great place to get out of the wind and unwind. The room was huge, the pool even bigger. Everything was well maintained. Great value for money. Very safe and I will be back.😀

Right on the beach where you could swim easily especially in the morning before the waves got bigger. Rooms were good with the resort garden still full of trees with a resident parrot and squirrel I like some where they have concreted over everything. Nice small pool if the waves are too big for you. Easy beach walks past fishing villages and access to kite surfing places if that is what you are looking for.

We had a great time…. The place is just amazing.. We wanted to spend a few days to have a rest before another exploring of Sri Lanka… You have to take a boat (5 min) to get to the beach - very good spot for kiting…. We travel with our 8 years old son, so spent couple nice days at the beach. Room was spacious and clean… our special thanks is to Ansalis and Madushan who took an extraordinary care of us and made our stay unforgettable. Bur the whole staff was very friendly and helpful with anything…. THANK YOU 😃

We had a wonderful time at Valampuri Resort! Even though we did not go kite-surfing, we enjoyed our stay very much! The whole facility is beautiful: cozy cabins below palm trees, a spacious pool, sunset view, outdoor bathroom (which felt luxurious and adventurous at the same time!), view of the lagoon, … and the food was delicious! We tried the deviled clams, biriyani, grilled tuna and fish and everything was fresh and tasty. We appreciated that they use seasonal and regional products (therefore not everything on the menu is available … obviously! I can‘t understand how people could possibly complain about that). But especially Akash made our stay perfect! He organised a trip via boat and tuktuk to Wilpattu National Park and it was amazing! Every transport was already there and waiting for us and the whole trip was a great experience. Akash also helped us with our further travels, told us when the Dutch Fort is open for visitors and so on! He was a huge help. Therefore, we highly recommend staying here even if you do not kite! It is a very relaxing and beautiful location!

It's the most beautiful beach setting. The bungalows are very nice with outdoor shower and a very comfortable bed. The swimming pool is large and very well positioned and they have very good food selections for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff is very nice and helpful and we had a great four days here.

Great swimming pool. One of the best in the area. There’s a table tennis table and pool table which is enjoyable for the evening. Staff were so lovely and welcoming. They really made the place! Very good Moscow mule at the kite centre bar. Friendly atmosphere too.
