A comfortable villa located in a quiet village away from the crowded tourist hotels. A gorgeous, secluded beach with soft sand and palm trees is just 50 meters away. This beautifully appointed villa features a huge, fully equipped kitchen and a cozy living room. It also features two comfortable bedrooms and two separate bathrooms. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with fruit trees, seating areas, and a barbecue. The beautiful pool was specially cleaned at our request, for which we extend a special thanks to the villa owner. The villa is a 15-minute drive from Hikkaduwa's turtle beach. Keel's supermarket and an excellent seafood restaurant are a 5-minute drive away. I recommend this option for those seeking a secluded, comfortable getaway in the wild. I especially want to thank the villa owner for his responsiveness to all our requests.

It was just perfect! The villa and the environment is wonderful! Even nicer than on the picture! The family took care of every which we had and were super friendly! We recommend this place to everyone! Its much more nicer than the hotels on the beach, and very easy to reach by public Transport and TukTuk for the last meters. It was the nicest accommodation we had on our 3.5 week Sri Lanka trip and a perfect place to finish it :-)

We were warmly welcomed and surprised by location, villa, atmosphere, staff, ocean. A very private, elegant & cosy hideaway, Indian Ocean quite in front our room, great breakfast was served, the staff took care of all our wishes, we also loved to visit the owners restaurant nearby, tasting all the fresh seafood. The owner speaks Italian & English. What a pity that our stay was so short. This accommodation is a good reason to come back and stay longer.

One of the best hotel stays we had experienced, everything was perfect from the staff to the property and the food was exceptional! We were taken care of by every single staff member we came across. The attention to details was above our expectations. We were also lucky enough to be there during their menu makeover and had a wonderful experience with Group Chef Sumudu whom was passionate about his menu and keen to hear feedback! Big Kudus to all the staff for making the stay enjoyable!!! Praba, Robert, Menaka and Lasitha! we truly felt a personalized touch and at home! Definitely on my list to come back here

The property is very well presented with large bedroom & bathroom & terrace - the breakfast was served just outside our room. The swimming was excellent and well maintained and warm. The staff were very welcoming and worked hard to keep us all happy. The beach was a 5 min walk and is stunning - very natural and untouched. The wifi worked in the whole of the hotel.

Food is very delicious and we had a fantastic breakfast .Before preparing our food chef Shyamal talked to us and made everything according to our needs . Kumu Beach is a cosy boutique hotel, which is mell managed by exceptional staff. The food was excellent and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel premises are well maintained, with a lovely garden and excellent swimming pool.

Location was perfect. Next to beach and only 10 minutes from the shops. Swimming pool was great and so was breakfast. Stayed in a lot of places and this was the only one that had kettle and tea in the room

Beautiful boutique hotel. Fabulous views of the beach and swimming pool. Amazing staff who were very attentive and provided excellent hospitality!

Dont look any further. This should be your place to stay at. Great staff, beautiful view on the lake, comfortable rooms and nice swimming pool. You can use the kayaks for free and the surroundings here are stunning. A lot of different kind of birds, monkeys, bats and other animals to spot on the lake. The owner speaks good English and you can see he puts a lot of effort to make this place perfect for his guests.
