I really liked the owner and chatting with him. The whole stay felt a bit like being at home, very cosy. The bed was super comfortable.

The hotel is set high on a hill overlooking Enoshima Island and Mt. Fuji. The view is, simply, stunning. The village is a quiet little seaside town, which suited us perfectly. The electric train runs along the coast, linking the little towns to Kamakura. The hotel has is a swimming pool (closed when we were there), a golf driving range next door, and a lot of sea activities, such a surfing and small boat/board sailing. It would be a great spot for a few days of R&R from whirlwind touring. The hotel offers a free bus service to and from the local station, but you can walk to anywhere in the village, where there is a (limited) range of restaurants - the food we tried was excellent. The hotel also serves meals. Our room was large and comfortable, with a good amount of clothes storage, a full-size closet, a desk/make-up space and good mirror, a coffee table and chairs, and a small balcony. The bathroom is also large, with a generous sized bathtub. Everything was sparkling clean. Reception and other staff were friendly and very welcoming; communication was easy as many spoke good English. If you decide to stay, book a landmark view room on the 4th floor. Well worth the extra price. But, be warned Fuji-san is not always in view, we had a lot of sea mist on our visit so you may only get half the view you’ve paid for.

Our stay at the harbour terrace was excellent. The room and the view are unbeatable. A great place to unwind and watch/listen to the waves go by. Hospitality is excellent. Highly recommend!

Enjoy the views from the room, as well as the bath in the cave and the roman. The staff was very friendly and very attentive since they gave me clothes in my size without me asking, which was very comfortable. The restaurant food was delicious and had good portions. Im a foreigner but they made me feel welcome so my experience at the hotel was very good

This property was amazing! it was comfortable, clean and specious. The beds were comfortable and the styling of the house was fantastic-high ceilings, so much room. It felt like a well built home and even the smallest details were thought about. The sauna and karaoke room were the highlight of our stay!

I liked the location, the traditional room, and my own tiled bathtub. I stayed two nights in the double room with a private bathroom. The owner is a 72 year old woman. I am also a 72 year old woman, so we related well to each other despite the language barrier. The single rooms with toilet and handbasin look like good value for solo travellers staying for one night. The futon was quite firm but I slept well.
