Staff were very personal, friendly, and welcoming. Facilities are clean and the room is more spacious than depicted in the photos. Dinner was very impressive. Hotel and staff seemed particularly generous. We were offered pick up/chauffeuring services without even asking for it. The tourist destinations/day trip suggested by the staff was also very informative and felt perfect.

The rooms at Kinnotake Tonosawa comes with a private hot spring bath. They also include a coffee machine. The hotel has free WiFi, and a terrace.

The location is amazing, in a beautiful place and with a shuttle every 20 min to and from the hakone-yumoto station. The Hotel is very good and the dinner and breakfast buffets are incredible.

The hotel was amazing. The attached hot springs were fantastic, offering a range of different types of springs. The hotel had a wide range of facilities (massage chairs, relaxation rooms, manga room, video game room), and the location was great. It was set at the foot of the mountain, so great views in the morning and evening, and fresh air. We had a traditional Japanese room, and the style and features of the room was great.
