Fabulous. It is a lovely family-run hotel, clean and comfortable. In the restaurant we could taste delicious local cusine. Selection of wines is great. It is close to Tirano so we could easily get to the Bernina Express. People make places - it is especially true there. We had a problem with a rented car, the staff was more than helpful as they immediately offered us a lift to a nearby Sondrio, where we could have a replacement car. They make an effort so their guests can feel at home. Worth visiting! We highly recommend it!

I absolutely loved my stay at Alpen Chalet. The entire place is very well kept, and the hospitality is warm and friendly. I had only booked one night, but hope to spend more time on my next visit! The beds! Wow! So comfy, and the restaurant food was to die for. Highly recommended.
