Peaceful location a 20 minute walk from the station. Bikes available free of charge on a first come first served basis. Great for getting to the station and also the cycle track from Levanto to Bonassola/Furama - easy and stunning ride. Fabulous pool and garden, spotlessly clean. Danilo is a great host, would definitely recommend Casa Gardan.

This property was absolutely amazing. We have been to Cinque Terre once before and always love it there. But this time we stayed higher up on the mountain at this location. It was a 10 minute bus ride down the hill (bus comes every 30 minutes) or it was a 15 minute hike down a pathway into Monterosso. Our Host's name was Thisithu and he went over and above every day. We stayed too late in town one night and couldn't get a cab or bus, so he came into town and picked us up. we actually spent a lot of evenings, just sitting around chatting with him, he has a great perspective on life and great stories of Sri Lanka (where he is from) and of Italy (where he has worked for 15 years or so. The property, buildings and views were amazing and we wouldn't change a thing.

Laura and Lucca are great hosts. Wonderful food. Felt like coming home each day to the peace and quiet. The Devia Marina is 10 minutes drive away where you can catch the train to the Chinque Terre, or enjoy a swim at the beach there. Lovely little town. We rented a little motorboat one day from Rapello (30 minute drive) and cruised around Portofino.

Very quiet place and very nice hosts. Food is very good, especially dinner. Local wine fits perfectly. Swimming pool always good for a swim. Not crowded. Exceptionally clean!

Breakfast was wonderfully varied...to suit all tastes. Luca our host was lovely and welcoming (so patient with me trying to speak Italian with him!) We ate evening meals there every night...the food, all home cooked was sensational! Great music in the evenings too! The room was plenty big enough, clean and more than adequate. The pool was welcoming and cooling, set amidst the olive grove.

Amazing tranquil place - just far enough away from cique terra to be relaxing but close enough for day trips on the train. The best way of doing it. Also the food was the best of our trip and the pool is very relaxing. Would recomend.

Such a stunning property surrounded by nature,vineyards and olive trees. Beautiful peaceful pool. The host was very welcoming and engaging, the home cooked food exceptional and their own wine was sublime.
