We came in the early evening and the manager was very accommodating - it was a cool night and he had heated the rooms to a comfortable temperature . Enrico also gave us many options for dinner spots that offered a wide variety of menus. All of his suggestions were great. The breakfast was really wonderful - all kinds of fruit, breads, yougurt , etc as well as fresh coffee made to order at their expresso bar. The staff was friendly and willing to help answer our questions when we needed some directions. Very cozy rooms and a comfortable sitting area in the common space . The outdoor pool has a great view of the valley and the garden/fruit trees are a delight. Quiet location but an easy walk into town ( 10 minutes) where it is lively but not overcrowded- A lovely town to visit and have as a central location for many other sites in the area - Enrico has maps and literature in multiple langugages . We will go back there when we travel in the region.

We loved la Carrera. A delightful town, a gem of a place, a warm welcome, a private spa experience, a super comfortable bed…. A great overnight stop. Wish we could have stayed longer. Make it a destination on your travels!

The host, mikela, made us feel at home. She took our stay to the next level. Although the pool should have been not in use, she went out of her way to make it available for us. Also we were provided a good breakfast even if it was not included. It was perfect.

This is a hidden gem in the. Iddle of Nardo. Behind a tall wall and Cyprus trees lies a lovely restored old building. The lady on breakfast Cynthia I think could do enough for us. Home made cooked cakes and pastries. A big smile . Having the super market next door ws a bonus for water etc . Pool was lovely.

The food and location. I like the nature surrounding the masseria. It Is a very peaceful and magical place. The staff has been very friendly. We had dinner there and the grigliate and grilled veggies were delicious. Desserts were also very gnammy. Our room was enormous.

A lovely place to stay. The owners were very accommodating. I’m vegan and they cooked a special dinner off the menu just for me. It’s located on a fruit and vegetable farm. The oranges and grapes were picked on the farm just the day before. I had to leave very early on my day of departure and, again, the staff were so very nice. They got up before normal breakfast time to ensure that I didn’t leave hungry. I would recommend staying here without hesitation.
