Ajith and his family were so friendly and welcoming and provided lots of information on local things to see and explore including helping us arrange onward travel. The house is right next to then river and the canoeing and kayaking was one of the highlights of our trip. The home cooked food was great, the gardens were beautiful and the kids enjoyed the pool to cool off on a hot day. The rooms were comfortable and clean and it was a very relaxing few days. A really special stay!

Enchanting place, immersed in a spectacular nature. The atmosphere is muffled, relaxing and welcoming. The structure is very beautiful, with some small details that could still be improved. Our suite (AAMBAL) very beautiful, with a small pool, lake view, immersed in absolute peace. All the staff deserves a special mention, for the attention, courtesy and professionalism. For some a special mention: all the reception staff, attentive to our needs and guardian of our forgetfulness! Athul, responsible for the SPA services, with the two professionals, Shilba and Binu who for days took care of our needs. At the restaurant, where all the waiters deserve applause for efficiency and commitment but a special appreciation goes to the kitchen brigade and its Executive Chef Arun Surendran. We are two frequent travellers, with considerable experience of India and its special cuisine even if very spicy for Western tastes. For four days we had the privilege of tasting traditional Indian and Kerala dishes (Allapey vegetable curry, Kadai Murg, Paneer do pyaza, Vendakka pepper fry, Spiced papad, Malabari Paratha), excellently prepared, with a formidable balance and taste, even for Italian palates, which is no small thing! Really compliments.

Food was exceptional - not only the Indian cuisine but the international dishes too. Staff were very friendly and great with our young kids. Everything was very clean including the pool. Gorgeous views. Had spa treatment too which was very relaxing. Kids playground was great for our kids ages (5, 8) as it wasn't too babyish.
