Fantastic, superb nice staff, beautiful garden, we had great time. Food cooked and served by the chef was incredible. Photos does not show the beauty of place. In reality swimming pool and garden are more wonderful. Location quiet with view to the see. Direct from villa see coast possible snorkling, to see underwater coral flowers and colourful fish.

This is the best villa we have stayed in. The location was tranquil but close to the beach and a couple of restaurants. There is a cook to make meals and they will help you get items from the shop. The villa is exceptionally clean and well maintained, absolutely stunning. Very comfortable stay.

We visited Gunung Paradise Retreat as a family of four, simply looking for a quiet place to relax and recharge. What we found was so much more — an experience that ended up touching us on a much deeper level. Nestled in the hills of North Bali, far from the crowded tourist areas, Gunung Paradise offers breathtaking views — though, truth be told, no photo can truly capture the magic of this place. You have to be there to feel it: the peace, the space, the spirit of the land. The owners are incredibly welcoming and passionate about local heritage and community. They made us feel right at home and generously shared their knowledge of the area, including a beautiful guided tour of the nearby village, where life moves at a slower, more meaningful pace. The food was delicious — fresh, local, and made with care — and the overall service exceeded our expectations. We weren’t seeking a spiritual retreat, but it gently found us. One of the highlights was meeting a gifted local healer. Her energy healing session and palm reading were both powerful and surprisingly accurate. One month later, I can still feel the positive impact it had on me — emotionally and energetically. Gunung Paradise isn’t just a retreat; it’s a place where something shifts inside you. If you're open to it, this tranquil hideaway might just be the turning point you didn’t know you needed.

We stayed for a week and it was nothing short of wonderful. The villa is big, with a nice sofa, enormous tv, spacious bedrooms, extra lounge area upstairs and quiet airco’s. The pool is the perfect size with relaxing lounge beds and lights in the evening. It’s a quiet and peaceful location. Lovina centre is just 10 minutes by motorbike. There are lots of nice restaurants and good massage places in Lovina. There is a small shop just across the street of the villa and at the end of the street is a bigger supermarket. But what made it so great are Budi, Puspa and their 1 year old daughter Bianca. The managers of the property. They live next door. Budi was a perfect guide to his hometown an Aga village called Pedawa. From Pedawa you have great views on the rice fields of Munduk, and we learnt about the history of the village and met the family (we don’t speak a lot of Indonesian but luckily Budi speaks English). Puspa learnt us how to make offerings and Budi makes delicious coffee and has tips of what to do in the surroundings. They let you to it, but are there whenever you need them. Budi arranged a motorbike for us during our stay and a car ride to our next stay. Made sure the lounge beds in the pools were ready in the morning and just did a lot of little extra things in general. They made us feel at home. We can highly recommend to stay here.

We had a very nice stay in Villa Riang, located in Mayong, between Mundunk and the costal area of Lovina.. a very good location when you want to avoid the crowd. Splendid view from the terrasse with a nice refreshing little pool. Good local food prepared by Ria. In the next morning, we could enjoy the cultural walk with her husband Putu in the area, to meet the farmers and know more about Bali's rituals & plants. A perfect place to stop for those who want an authentic Balinese experience.

Spotless clean villa with really big comfortable beds. Pool was large, just the right size. View was really pleasent in a super quiet area. Warung by the beach we liked a lot (maybe 15-20min walking). Ketut made good breakfast, the guardboy was nice and helpful, driver super cheerful, full of joy. Everybody genuinely fantastic people.

Everything was just perfect! We stayed in the villa with private pool, which was fantastic - very spacious, with the beach on one side and rice fields on the other. It is somewhat remote, but as we wanted to be away from the crowds, this was perfect too, and you can book transfers and day trips as well as massages via the hotel.

Excellent value for money: big room with balcony, fridge, strong air conditioning, lovely pool (water has a nice refreshing temperature). Lots of choices for breakfast. I didn't expect much when I went snorkelling but what surprised how beautiful the reef is there.

Such a beautiful little gem on the beach with massive and well-designed color-themed room. The mattress is so comfortable that we had such a good, straight sleep on the tranquil, quiet beach. We booked the Studio biru which has direct access to the pool and beach. The resto is just nearby and food were spot on. We did not have to go anywhere but just relax and chill at the resort because they have everything we need for short beach vacation.

Mayo is a glorious resort in north Bali with black sand beach and a gorgeous pool. The restaurant overlooks the sea and has the most brilliant sunsets I've ever witnessed. The rooms are huge with high ceilings and stone flooring. The beds are very comfortable. The staff is very kind, attentive and accommodating. There's a row boat you can take out, and free snorkel gear rental (sans snorkel 🤿) mask/Fins only. Unlimited free Le Mineral drinking water and a nice sized fridge.
