I think I am spoiled after staying at El Tropico Hotel in Lombok! Service, food, location, price, room design, staffs, atmosphere...everything is PERFECT! We stayed at El Tropico during Christmas, booked 2 different types of room - one with bathtub and one without. El Tropico gave a free upgrade to the room of my partner's mom to the same type as a little X'mas gift. This is a sweet surprise and very heartwarming! Service was impeccable!! From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth. Staffs are super friendly and polite, every single staff went above and beyond to make your stay filled with happiness and unforgettable. 2 thumbs up for Wahyu (Front Desk "Santa Claus"), Egis, Sa, Dede, Fikri, Putri..... and all other staffs who we didn't have enough time to get their names. Thank you sooooo much for the top notch service. Food and drinks - yum yum yum. We had cocktail happy hour everyday by the pool. Breakfast - you have a menu to choose from but the options basically covers everything you want for breakfast, portion is big. Don't miss the smoothie bowl and avocado toast!! Choose the package with breakfast, you won't regret. They have 3 very clean swimming pools - a long one on the roof top which we stay everyday, less people and there are some cabanas for hotel guests, more chill out atmosphere. If you prefer some music, the ground floor big pool is fantastic, don't worry, it's not loud, just giving you a bit of tropical groove feel. The 3rd one is on the other building of the hotel. I am not a big fan of semi-open or open ceiling bathroom because I am afraid of geckos, which is almost unavoidable in Indonesia. Our bathroom is the semi-opened ceiling type, it's HUGE with a bathtub! I was a bit worried during check-in but Wahyu assured me there will be NO geckos in the bathroom/bedroom. I was so surprised during our 5 nights stay, I didn't see any gecko in the whole resort at all!!!

Location is very good, walking distance all restaurants and bars. We went surfing to Grupuk with motorcycles that was also convenient. Staff is very friendly and the facilities are super nice. We came back after last year and it was very nice to stay at this place again. Breakfast and food and also all the drinks and desserts are super tasty. Fully recommend it!

Fantastic 😍 relaxing!! We loved everything. This place would everywhere in Europe get easily 5 stars! The service is great, the staff very nice, the food OMG!!! Everything is prepared freshly, ingredients high quality, the taste amazing! The view is stunning. The rooms are very spacious, the bed is very comfy. SO clean. The place is still pretty new and you can see and feel that the owner put a lot of effort to design and built up everything very safe and comfortable. All the materials have a really good quality. We arrived late 8/9 pm, we had been doing a long trip and when we arrived we were very exhausted. But within ten minutes we started to relax and from minute to minute it became even better. We didn't want to leave! But for sure we are hoping to come back again. Also I want to emphasize the great hospitality of the owner - thank you for the wonderful stay Mickey!

Excellent location, right in the centre but also a nice quiet place. Swimming pool was lovely, and the breakfast was also nice. The staff helped us to book our boat to Gili Trawangan. Our room was very big and the shower was hot & powerful

the garden is wonderful, with a beautiful swimming pool. the room is spacious, a little dated and not particularly clean. the huge bathroom with outdoor shower. the satellite TV didn't work they had a problem with the cable..internet is ok and the breakfast is good ..in general it's not bad it's a nice place but I wouldn't go back I didn't like it so much to return or suggest to my friend

The vila is spacious, nicely designed, the indoor swimming pool is kids’ favourite, and they do provide swimming towel everyday. The most value-added is the free scooters they offered between Kuta Main Street and vila, they always response very promptly! The vila is also fully kitchen- equipped, if you just want some families time in a relax vibe, you may shop at nearby fresh market and make you own dinners! We did that twice and kids just love the simple home-cooked so much.

Lovely people/staff, the breakfast was very tasty and the whole area (accomodation/outdoor) was very relaxing to be at. The staff did their thing (greeting you always, always had a nice chat while having a swim), the swimming pool was heated which we really liked, the room was roomy (but cozy at the same time). We'd loved it!

The room was super spacious, and I love the outdoor bathroom and the swimming pool! Very friendly and helpful staff ~great location too, super quiet and only take less than 5 mins ride on scooter to get to the Main Street of Kuta! Highly recommended, and will definitely stay here again if I visit Kuta in the future :)
