The hotel is great. The architecture of this place is mind-blowing, the rooms are very pretty, the pools are clean and offerring a pleasant swim, the breakfast buffet was delicious, and the staff is really nice. The fact that the hotel is right by the beach and that you can lie on the beach and go swim in the pool at the same time sets this hotel apart from most hotels in the Rethymno city. Another great thing about the location of the hotel is that you can walk to the nearby tavernas for lunch or dinner or to the city centre (it's a 35-minutes walk to the old town). We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone. We also liked the "adults-only" atmosphere - it was very peaceful at the pools and the beach. The hotel and the whole city also feels very safe and there is nobody who would disturb you at the beach (as it is common on some other touristic places).

We stayed at the hotel during our first visit to Crete off season (late March) for a week and would do it the same way again. The hotel offers generous and delicious breakfast/brunch, it's perfectly located in the old town, and our host suggested us a lot of off beat restaurants and places to visit and offered utmost attention. We even had an improvised workshop on how to prepare artichokes - everything was done to make our stay comfortable and memorable!

Casa Gaga is beautiful. The décor is contemporary and stylish, and I adored the little courtyard with the plunge pool. It felt like a Moroccan riad! The owner was very helpful and charming. Nothing was too much trouble. He gave great restaurant recommendations – I was just sorry my stay wasn't longer so I could have enjoyed them all! Its location in the Old Town is perfect. The bed was huge and super comfy. I loved my stay here.

Just wonderful! Loved the atmosphere with the cute little pool in the courtyard and my bedroom was beautiful and so well designed. It was small but perfectly formed. Quality towels bathrobes slippers and a cute canvas bag with towels for beach was great! I felt so comfortable and relaxed here and will definitely return with my husband. Great kitchen for those who want to self cater and constant complimentary water coffee tea etc it would be ideal for a private group to book the rooms and have the place together with a kitchen like that and a great front living area. In all my travels I never met anyone as sweet as the cleaning lady she was adorable with a heart of gold and she works so hard and has the place gleaming! Even without English speaking we could communicate and I loved meeting her. The manager was a very nice lady with lots of information about the history of the house. I will be back! :) Oh and the bed was perfect as was the pillows and good pillows are hard to find in hotels!

Everything. Perfect 5* The Ammnos Suite was an excellent choice for our stay. The whole place was spotless and very well maintained. There is an elevator that takes you comfortably to the higher floors, and the pool was cleaned daily by the staff. Breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety to choose from. The location is perfect – just a few steps from the beach, where sunbeds are available with drinks if you stay at the suite. The city center is also within easy reach, about a 15-minute walk, and the inner city offers plenty of fantastic restaurants, from fancy options to cozy, homemade-style places. Our stay was peaceful and relaxing. The room was very spacious, beautifully designed, and the interior was modern and comfortable. Overall, this is definitely a five-star place – highly recommended!

Great breakfast, lovely staff, great availability of beach toys for kids, very convenient location near to some of the best restaurants outside of the old town of Rethymno. Large free parking lot available 300 meters from the door of the hotel. Great beachside direct access and nice swimming pools in the shade for both adults and kids (great in crazy warm days)

The hotel is nice and clean. Personal is very friendly. Daily cleaning. The hotel is situated next to the beach. The area is quiet at night, it is not a party place:) The swimming pool is spotless.

Location in the middle of the city center, close to the famous fountain and restaurants and bars. It is situated just around the corner and thus out of the busy part of the city. It is a smaller scale hotel with superfriendly people, a central swimming pool and clean and big rooms. The breakfast is a mix of European and Greek style and includes all one wants in the morning.

Very good location, right next to the beach. Close to the old city center. Hotel with 2 outdoor and 1 indoor swimming pools. Large room, with a balcony and a sea view. Comfortable, large bed. Very clean. Comfortable bathroom. A bottle of wine and a capsule coffee machine in the room were a nice addition. Very good breakfast. Very good and polite service. If I can, I will also choose this hotel next time.
