This might be the best hotel I’ve ever been to. The staff was just the best, they go out of their way to help you. I signaled a problem with the pressure in my shower, it was immediately taken care of. I told one of the receptionists that I felt a cold coming, she gave me a glass of fresh Orange Juice “for the Vitamin C”. So kind, so attentive, always smiling, always up for a fun chat. It could not have been better.

On the banks of the River Mersey, the Waterside Hotel is just 10 minutes from Manchester airport. The hotel has a restaurant and leisure centre.

Stepping into the lobby felt like stepping into a serene retreat. Contrasting the busy bustling city outside. The staff were very pleasant- polite and helpful. I wish I had stayed longer. The restaurant was able to serve me dinner about 10 minutes to closing time- a welcome little mercy ang a long day’s travel and the meal was hearty! The bed was firm and large enough to roll around. Room very clean and the air conditioning kept it fresh.
