Beautiful property, very specious room, all renovated with big bathroom including sauna. The owner was super welcoming and brought us breakfast in the morning. Very quiet in a renovated farm surrounded by horses.

This is a really special place on many levels. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. The unit is situated on the grounds of a beautiful chateau and has just been set up as rental accommodation. Guests have access to a delightful swimming pool and there are walks in their woods. We hope to return soon!

Fantastic 5 star hotel chateau in extensive grounds on edge of Burgundy region. This was our third stay over a 20+ year period to this lovely venue. It has rural peace and historical charm coupled with attentive staff and an outstanding Michelin starred restaurant, set off by a brand new dining room and kitchen. It is is not a cheap place to stay, but if you ate after excellence and fine food and wine, then this will be for you. As an added bonus, you can befriend the various resident creatures such as the geese, ducks, white peacocks and the very friendly labradoodle "Omega". We ate every night in the restaurant guided in our choices of food and wine by the excellent Maitre D and chatted with the award winning chef. about his wonderful cuisine. Desserts by Karina are also a delight... the mango souffle an absolute triumph among a spectacular set of offerings.. We intend to return in 2025, giving France a bit of a wide berth in the 2024 Olympic year.

A lovely quiet place on the edge of the Morvan. Such a nice pool and garden. The gîte is well equipped and has all you need for a stay. The owner was very friendly and provided us with an extra bed for our baby. During our stay the owners bought parasols for the garden which we were very happy about.

Great location, great hosts, great room, comfy bed and enjoyable breakfast. Carole and Michel have a nice and comfy place in a tranquil area. Great place to explore the area full of ancient buildings, nice views and spring waters.

We had great communication from Gwendoline prior to our arrival and the entire family were here to welcome us when we arrived. Gwendoline and her husband showed us around their property and it was clear how much work has gone into the house and grounds and just how passionate they are to make sure their guests feel at home and can take advantage of everything they have lovingly created. The house has a lovely clean spacious feel, everything feels brand new (it only debuted in May 2024) and each room is beautifully decorated and finished with fresh fragrances to greet you. The kitchen has everything you need and there’s lots of cupboard items and essentials to hand. A large fridge freezer means you can stock up on local produce and not need to go shopping too often. The lounge area is relaxing, has a lovely fireplace area to sit around but also a large family dining table, a dartboard, a foozball table and a home cinema area! There’s a vast selection of pots, pans, utensils, glasses, crockery and cutlery too, you don’t need to bring anything! Theresa a Nespresso machine for you to buy pods for too. The veranda overlooks the most amazing view of the valley and canal along with the pool area, uninterrupted views with no properties overlooking in any direction. You are hidden away and totally secluded. Sit by the pool, enjoy the view in the sun while the kids play. At the front of the property is a lawned area under mature trees where there’s places to sit and relax, to dine and a brand new Weber BBQ to use. There are three double bedrooms, all spacious and beautifully done, the downstairs floor bedroom has its own shower room with double basin in travertine style. Stunning. There’s also a downstairs toilet. Upstairs the main bedroom has a shower of its own, in lovely tiles, and a separate basin. And a Velux window. There are two more bedrooms, one double one twin. There’s a bathroom to share with a double shower enclosure, spa bath and basin.

a fully authentic medieval building that has been modernised without losing is original roots. Our host Thomas was both welcoming and helpful, breakfast was 5 star and the whole town is stunning
