We were 2 families travelling together with young kids and it was really family friendly. It’s really charming and renovated to a high standard while keeping the historic and traditional feel and look. it has lot of space, being a 15 century castle with games room, library etc. the setting is beautiful with a massive garden including a great pool which we really enjoyed on the hot and sunny day we stayed there, especially as we had the whole area to ourselves. We also had a really nice dinner there as well as breakfast the next day and our host couldn’t have been more welcoming and service minded. His passion about his castle was contagious and we also really enjoyed his guided tour learning a lot about the castle through the centuries. if you want to experience staying in a historic castle or just escape the busyness of everyday life, this place is highly recommended.

Susan and Glenn were brilliant hosts. The supper and breakfast were out of this world. We were made to feel right at home as soon as we arrived and enjoyed the comfortable and convivial surroundings and the excellent facilities. The communications were very proactive. It's a lovely location and the bedroom had everything we needed including a kettle and fresh milk for our cup of tea. Definitely a place to stay again.

This is a gem of a B&B run by an English couple who left Britain to make a new start in the Limoges area. And they did well: an extremely comfortable gîte, a lovely garden with great views, Clair, een warm personality with a good sense of humour, Dwayne, one piece of strength and muscles and an excellent chef. You will understand that we loved it all and found it hard to say goodbye after this one night. First we had the most amazing breakfast and then be on our way again. Our reluctance to leave was also shown in the fact that we took the key with us. We realised this when we were well on our way so we had to go back. I hope for Clair and Dwayne that this lovely place will be a great success. It’s worth it.

House, quiet, location, garden, outdoor spaces, pool (top condition). House has so much character. We only stayed for two nights, wished it was longer. We will definitely return. Arrival and departure easy. Hosts communicated well before and after, all done on trust - as it should be! Enjoy if you stay here.

Apart from the wonderfully huge sign saying my name for all to see, it was magnificent to have a hotel just for me ...... In all seriousness, I hadn't stayed here before, or in fact in the area at all. So, it was a very pleasant surprise to find this little gem of a hotel. Easy access to the hotel, right off a main road, but not at all busy and noisy. The staff were so helpful and full of smiles and helped out when my French was somewhat lacking in areas. The rooms were very comfortable and well 'stocked' - as in good sized towels (but always could be a little bigger). I liked that there was a vending machine in the hotel, good range of drinks and snacks. Check in and out times were good, and check in and out process was quick and efficient. We did not use the hotel restaurant as we were busy for one of the nights, and the second night was a Sunday, so they weren't open - but the menu looked great and the actual restaurant was great inside (you walked through it to the breakfast room). The breakfast buffet was good, a decent range of food and drink, good size cups and glasses (not the tiny ones where it is like chugging down a shot of orange juice). We didn't use the swimming pool, but it was outside of the window of the breakfast room. It looked a good size and was clean with clear water.
