Never mind the Michelin star, just go for the food. It’s an iconic institution proud of their cuisine and justifiably so. Helpful and friendly too. Look for the letter from President Eisenhower on the wall of the restaurant.

Terrific location with a very warm welcome. The property is extremely well decorated and maintained with all eyes for detail. The little extra's like complementary drinks (also alcoholic) make it complete. Breakfast is amazing.

We stayed at Hotel Arraya in the lovely village of Sare and absolutely loved it! 💛 This charming historic house is run by a wonderful family whose warmth and hospitality made us feel truly at home. Everything is cared for with so much love and attention. The restaurant is excellent, and the location is perfect for exploring the Basque Country and the Pyrenees. The only thing we didn’t like was having to leave. 😊 We’d love to come back and highly recommend this beautiful place!

The area is very pretty. We had a room with a balcony which was very comfortable and we slept well in the large bed with crisp linen. The view from the balcony was amazing as was the food. Every bit of food we had was delicious and would not be out of place in a top London Restaurant. The whole experience was very special. The nearby town of Espilate was worth a visit. There is a Chilli farm where you can enjoy a tasting and buy local produce. The staff are very approachable and friendly.

The hotel is very comfortable and charming. We enjoyed the pool and dined at the highly rated restaurant. It was fun exploring the town of Ainhoa.

Wonderful hotel surrounded by a beautiful garden. The rooms are spacious and nicely designed. The gourmet restaurant and bistro serve tasty local dishes. They have their own vegetable garden and chicken coop. There were a variety of fresh fruits for breakfast. The outdoor swimming pool area is pristine and very nicely designed. There is also an indoor gym. Last but not least, the service is outstanding, the staff is smiling and eager to be of help.

Facilities are beautiful. Staff very friendly and helpful. We didn't get to use the pool due to heavy thunderstorms but it looked wonderful. Breakfast and dinner very nice. They made us feel very special. Thank you.

The hotel is in a beautiful village. The views from the balcony were exquisite…the room was beautiful and roomy. The pool was perfect. Dinner was superb.

It was a fantastic hotel experience. The levels of service and hospitality were impeccable. The restaurant is exceptional, I think possibly the best food I have tasted and to be lucky enough to dine on the terrace overlooking the pool and lovely countryside. Wow! Thank you for a really terrific stay.
