Remote. This is a destination. The setting is awesome with beautiful sunsets and sunrises. The staff were incredible. The shows perfect with natural and authentic talent. The food was great yet felt like home cooking.

I came for a wedding at the Shangri La and travelled alone. Gecko resort is perfectly located a short walk to the hotel. They were incredibly welcoming of a female solo traveller and nothing was too much trouble from letting me my room early to letting me keep the room til late for my evening return flight. Clean comfortable rooms - best nights sleep. Evening entertainment and excellent food, drink and cocktails. A little gem if you are touring Fiji make sure you add it to your list.

Comfy rooms and house keeping team did a fab job. Excellent breakfast spread and food in other restaurants lovely too. Great staff and amazing kids club. The lagoon is so pretty and full of lovely fish.
