If I could give this 11 out of 10 I would. What I love most about this gem of a hotel is that it doesn’t feel like you’re at a hotel or a resort, but like you’re staying in a super glamorous private home of your super glamorous friend. We stayed for 5 days, and it was heaven. They pick you up from the airport, with the super friendly Rueben, and then you get swept into this garden jungle paradise with lovely romantic burres (you feel like you’re in a Taylor Swift music video) in the middle of a jungle / bush tranquility. There’s a bar and great restaurant on site - and if you can’t find anyone at the bar to make you a drink you can just WhatsApp the manager and they’ll bring drinks to you - and a great pool and fantastic location to the airport. But hands down the best part is the host, the owner Mrs B, who is quite possibly one of the most exceptional hosts & all round superstars we’ve ever met. She went out of her way to make sure we had an amazing time, from organising Fijian curry to be made that night at the restaurant so we could try it, to making sure breakfast stayed open late when we slept in, and just hanging out and having incredible chats. She’s absolutely phenomenal and made our visit super magical. She’s a true star.

I absolutely loved my 5 nights at Belo Vula. Would happily go back and didn't want to leave. What a hidden gem, perfect for young couples, families and people not needing super high end finishes. It's simplisticily charming and would happily stay here over the fancier resorts Loved that it was only a 5 minute boat ride from Lautoka, free boat and running constantly all day. Made it easy to head for a curry at the south sea club and head to the rugby at Churchill Park. Loved being so close to the beach and the fact there was grass everywhere outside the bures so our room never got too sandy Loved the kokoda and fresh fish, very large portions which made the resort prices reasonable. Super friendly staff and loved our very large spacious room. Excellent pool and ocean swimming was great. Super handy to be able to hire kayaks and stand up paddle boards.

My second trip to Fiji, first time in Denarau. The Hilton was a perfect stay for me and my parents. It has a pretty ocean side pool and four eateries (one of which is adult only), very family friendly. You can walk along the long stretch beach but not great for swimming - but you can hire motorized water vehicles if that's your thing. The bedrooms are super comfortable, clean, great shower and bath tub - excellent view from the balcony. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Loved the morning pool aqua aerobics, it should be on the schedule twice a day! Wished there were more vegetarian food options at nuku and the Asian restaurant. But shout out of Pavan, the chef at Koro, who went above and beyond to make sure my parents had some really amazing food. Would definitely stay here again. If you have any issues with stairs I would recommend trying to request a ground floor room .
