It was the most beautiful location with outstanding and wonderful service. I ate in the square so cannot comment on the food but the bar service was very good and the rooms outstanding. I cannot thank the reception staff enough for their exemplary service and the great sadness was not meeting Raquel with whom I had communicated by email and who was an Angel with the care she took to make my reservation and stay world class. Also the perfect stop half way down through Spain on anyone’s travels to the south. Well worth the effort of going off piste and ignore the average surrounds of Plasencia the Parador and all that surrounds it is in the old quarter and is stunning.

Everything about this place is wonderful! This was pour second stay at the Palacio Carvajal Girón. From the rooms to the service, the rooms are spotless & are cleaned daily with fresh sheets & water bottles provided by the hotel. The food at the hotel is also very good with a great selection of breakfast if you’re looking to have food before starting the morning. Service couldn’t be better they go above and beyond to help out with any questions. Location is perfect right beside the town square with many restaurants & bars. I look forward to our next stay back at this hotel.

Clearly a very old building expertly upgraded to a very high standard. Our room was spotless and very comfortable, great shower, great mattress and most impressive was a range of top quality Jamon and other snacks and beers in the fridge, all very reasonably priced unlike most minibars in hotels. We really appreciated our relaxed night here after a long drive. Breakfast was so impressive with a lovey selection of tasty delights …,,I had to hold back from eating everything! Can’t fault this great B&B …attention to detail is everything and this family know how to run things properly. Thanks !

We stayed at this beautiful country house for just one night, and we absolutely loved it! The place is incredibly quiet and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house itself was spotless, and we really appreciated how well-equipped everything was. The bathrooms had everything we needed: shampoo, body wash, tissue, a hair dryer, and fresh clean towels. The kitchen was also fully stocked with everything you'd need for cooking, including condiments and even a dishwasher. One small detail I really liked was the generous supply of paper towels in the kitchen, it was super handy when prepping meals and keeping the counters clean. All the bedrooms were clean and spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The AC units were all new and worked perfectly—you can even control the temperature and lighting using the property’s mobile phone, which was a nice modern touch. There are four spacious bedrooms, and the house is very family-friendly too. They had a crib and a changing table ready, perfect for anyone traveling with a baby. While the private swimming pool looked amazing, we didn’t get to use it since it was still a bit chilly during our spring visit. But the property has a warm jacuzzi inside the house, which was perfect for the cool weather! We enjoyed it so much!!! There were also plenty of fun things to do around the house like playing PS5 for anyone who’s into gaming. To top it all off, the owner was incredibly kind and generous. Since we checked in a bit late, he allowed us to stay a little longer so we could make the most of our visit—which we really appreciated. We’re already planning to come back. Highly recommend this place!

A most WONDERFUL surprise. We didn’t expect this to be quite so amazing so we ended up staying an extra night. Everything was exceptional- from the beautiful. traditional Mongolian Yurt, to the comfortable bed, lovely cotton sheets and towels, every place spotlessly clean. Jose & his lovely wife made us feel like we were their personal friends- gave us so much advice on what to do & where to eat locally. Breakfast was lovely & Leticia baked a beautiful cake for us. We ate our way around the property- cherries were in season & Jose filled a box of them on the morning we were leaving. We will definitely return.
