Excellent stop while walking the Via de la Plata. Spacious, really clean, comfortable bed with crisp linen. Balcony to dry clothes. We had the suite room with a lovely deep spa. So relaxing. The accommodation staff put our clothes through the washing machine for €3. Great value. Short walk to local restaurant/bar for food. A very enjoyable stay.

Right from the start, communication was prompt. Emilo was a great host, understanding all our needs as we were walking the camino. A very quiet village. The apartment is a 2brm. During the summer months, the pool is available. ..Should you ever need a place to stay due to other places not being available on the camino? This is the stop for you. We felt refreshed and energised for our walk into Laza the next day, with clean laundry and well-rested bodies.

Casa Rousía is special place. The hotel itself has a nice authentic style, is well equipped, good breakfast and everything but what it makes such an exceptional experience is Luis' attention. The carefully crafted trips to archeological sites, gastronomy and the villages and towns around as well as recommendations for hiking routes are a real gem. Even more, Luis shared his deep knowledge about the region and tailored very nice programmes for each of our days we stayed at the hotel.
