The room was ideal, it was on the top floor (2) and despite being opposite the lift, and reasonably near to a main road, it was very quiet. The beds were lovely and comfortable, and surprisingly (for me) the pillows were comfortable too. The room was large and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Literally just around the corner from the hotel (a minute's walk away) was a lovely restaurant, very busy and full of locals (always a good sign). We didn't stop for food, but the food did look amazing, plus we got a tapa of mini empanadas with our drink. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent, plenty of choice to fill us up.

A good location for a stress-free holiday in Matillas, Hostal Restaurante Rijujama is a guest house surrounded by views of the garden.
