The location was absolutely stunning, 10 out of 10 and the host was amazing, so welcoming and responded to all our needs and went above and beyond our expectations. I would recommended to anyone travelling to which I have promoted on YouTube highlighting the properties beauty.

The modern Portuondo bungalows are surrounded by the Basque countryside, and offer wonderful views onto the Mundaka Estuary. The site has a seasonal swimming pool.

We stayed here for a couple of nights and the owners Anna and Joseph were fantastic - very friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home in their house. The breakfasts and home cooked dinner were delicious. The rooms were very comfortable and the pool and garden is very nice. Our hosts couldn't do enough for us, even taking one of us to the hospital the morning of check-out! We had a wonderful time.

Top notch hotel in an old castle up on cliffs. Excellent attention to detail. Great price for 5 star luxury. Getxo is an absolutely charming town.

Set within 15 km of Catedral de Santiago and 15 km of Arriaga Theatre in Mungia, Basoan offers accommodation with seating area.

We really loved this hotel! The location is fantastic, the rooms are spacious and everything is very clean. The view of the forest is simply stunning, and in the morning the birdsong is absolutely beautiful. We liked it so much that we actually came back — we were on a road trip and it was very convenient that the hotel has its own parking. It’s also close to Bilbao, with an easy and comfortable drive. At first, we planned to stay just one night, but we liked it so much we returned and stayed another night. The breakfast was excellent, the pool was great — everything was just perfect. The bed was very comfortable, including the pillows, and the room had everything we needed. It was also a lovely surprise to receive a complimentary bottle of wine. A perfect stay!

I cannot tell you how incredible this booking was. 10/10 doesn’t do it justice. Complete safety in a gated community, incredible views and then the property itself is immaculate and has everything you need. I’m just sad we only needed 2 days here. The host was and is fantastic too; so friendly and attentive. Perfect score, perfect stay.

"We had an incredible stay at Iñigo's villa in Bilbao! Iñigo truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The villa itself was amazing, with a beautiful pool, BBQ area, and modern interior. The transport links were convenient, with reasonable Uber prices and trains to Bilbao. We also enjoyed a great day trip to San Sebastián, thanks to the excellent bus links nearby. The spacious rooms were spotlessly clean, and the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. Iñigo was incredibly flexible with check-in and check-out times, and he was always on hand to help us 24/7. Additionally, the nearby supermarket in Gexto was fantastic - super reasonable prices and staffed with friendly people. Beautiful house, I had a really nice room in the attic. The owner was really nice and welcoming, making sure I had all I could need. The countryside surrounding is breathtaking, all green and rolling hills. Unfortunately I did not have much time to enjoy that aspect this time as I had an early flight next day. The connection to the airport is fantastic, 10+ minutes by car, so it is an excellent alternative to a hotel airport.
