Room, breakfast, facilities all excellent. The bar is a "must have" were it only for the spectacular views of the Alster and the city. We treated ourselves also to a dinner in the Lakeside restaurant. Great menu, very creative and delicious dishes, and the wine pairing offered was for the most part super.

The hotel is a bit far from the city center, but there is a bus station right in front of it and it takes you to the train station from where you can take the train to the city. Otherwise, the hotel is located in a very green and beautiful area. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was basic, but very clean, spacious and comfortable.
