Very helpful, friendly staff. Our arrival was well before the 3pm check-in. However, we were able to leave our luggage at reception in a secure luggage store. The same was true on the day of our departure. Our room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and quiet. We had a small kitchen area with tea & coffee making facilities, toaster, sink, washing machine, fridge, and dishwasher. We also had a small sofa with side table as well as bench seating with a larger table to eat at. There was very little noise from inside or outside the hotel despite being very close to the train line and Conference Centre. Good rail links (only about a 15-minute train journey to/from Köln Bonn airport) and approximately 10 to 15 minutes on foot across the bridge to old town Cologne. The pool is a very nice facility to have access to, also very clean and, at the time of our visit, not busy. We didn't use the sauna or gym, however, both looked well kept. Would definitely stay again.

I was so impressed with Maritim Hotel! Old fashioned in the best possible sense. In the age of self-check in and unlicensed B&Bs, this is a hotel with every amenity you can dream of. The rooms are very large and comfortable, staff are professional and helpful, and the breakfast in the morning is almost worth the trip to Köln itself!
