All meals were excellent, served in the wonderful restaurant that has a vaulted ceiling yet is open at ground level. Staff were extremely helpful in arranging transport for us both to and from the hotel. Cannot fault the staff who were friendly and very efficient. Thoroughly recommend.

Swimming pool was great! Breakfast which was included was delicious. There is a great view of the boats in the Harbor. It's also a close walk to the ferry to get to Porto Jimenez. Hot shower as well.

A beautiful property, right in the jungle with outstanding rooms and facilities. The location was superb - right next to the airstrip and an easy walk into Puerto Jiménez. We saw and heard so much wildlife and went on a spectacular night hike with Osa Wild. The pool area was great and the trails around the grounds were also wonderful. Food and drink was quite expensive, but we could cater for ourselves when we wanted to as we had kitchen facilities in our room.

It is a wonderful place. Macaws in the almond tree, parrots arriving and departing (always with a great party :)), a wonderful garden, 2 really cute cats. We really loved it there. Beach, Supermarket and restaurant are walking distance. A perfect place to start a Corcovado tour as well. Lubna was on holiday when we arrived, but she managed everything from the distance. We had the place for us own, its a shared kitchen and bathroom. Be sure you have money with you, it was not possible to pay the room with credit card.

Everything. Jen and Stuart are superb hosts and have a wonderful property equally suitable if looking for a yoga/retreat type break or a relaxing trip surrounded by nature/wildlife and the beach. Comfortable accommodation, very clean, perfect for an overnight stay before you go to the Corcovado National Park. Really nice hosts, let us park our car while we were visiting the national park. 100% recommended.

Amazing place to stay. We had the entire little house to ourselves including well equipped kitchen and terrace. There is washing machine to do some basic laundry. It was a very pleasant stay and location was great. The owner is very friendly

Well, let me just say that this was the best lodging we've had, out of 8 places during 3 weeks in Costa Rica. The location is unbeatable, on a quiet seafront yet just a shot away from the center and the lively waterfront with great restaurants. The offer of free kayaks and bikes is also great, it really extends your local possibilities (without the bikes, we'd never discover the Platanares beach, probably the nicest one we've seen on the Pacific side). John and his family were super helpful, from advising the local attractions right to recommending the great Corcovado tour. And the room was great, with a comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen and superb balcony overlooking the nice pool and the gulf. If you think of staying in or around Puerto Jiménez, this is the place to choose.
