The Pousasa is very well located, close to restaurants. The owner (Roberto) is very helpful in giving information on excursions, things to do and even to assist in driving guests to places. I would definitely visit the place again.

We had a lovely stay at Pousada Viva. Claudia and her husband went above and beyond for us and they created a wonderful atmosphere amongst all the guests. It was like staying with family. They arranged transportation from Sao Luiz airport as well as all of our tours. We wouldn't hesitate to come back!

Great choice in Santo Amaro considering price and value for money. We arrived late evening and left early so didn’t stay long but for us it was a perfect choice. Nice simple clean room set in a lovely garden and the restaurant had very nice breakfast, beautiful view of a lake and very kind and willing staff.

The room was very spacious, clean and new. The pousada is located close to the entrance of the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, so it’s perfect for participating in tours. The quality of the daily breakfast was good. The best part of my stay was the host Carla. She was the sweetest person, took care of everything (organizing tours, ordering food, etc.) for me and spoke English really well.

Extremely nice people and place. İt was my first stop and my first time in Brazil, and I don't speak Portuguese. They helped me with everything from my transfer to my tours, in a super nice and chill manner. Even though we don't share language it was very easy to communicate. I liked it so much I even extended my stay for a day.

Communication with host was super easy and helpful. He provided the contact of service providers such as tour guides, transport, taxi and even someone that could cook for us. He's very friendly and helpful. The home was tastefully decorated with air-conditioning in both bedrooms and living area. The swimming pool was quite nice.
