I booked on the day of arrival and was given the most beautiful room in the newly renovated part of the resort. It was impeccably clean, and the view was stunning. I decided to stay for another night and was moved to a room in the wing that hasn't been upgraded as of yet, but in all honestly, the cleanliness, facilities, and view did not disappoint. The staff are all incredibly friendly and welcoming in reception, housekeeping, and in the restaurant and bars. Scamander is the perfect place to stay and explore the surrounding towns and beaches. Everything is within a driveable distance, and there are many options for day trips on offer. The food menu in the restaurant is extensive, and you will find something to please every appetite. If you are a scallop lover like myself, it may pay to make a reservation and order them in advance so you are not disappointed if they sell out before you make it to dinner. The locals are friendly, and it was nice to have a conversation with a few of them as a solo traveler and hear about being born and bred in such a beautiful town. They are very proud of what they have here and should be. It's a very special part of the world.

Lovely house - clean and comfortable and plenty of space for a large family group to enjoy. Also very well fitted out with utensils and games etc . We loved it!
