This is an overall 'brilliant hotel-chalet' situated in a very beautiful valley of the Vorarlberg State. We have been visiting a lot of family hotels, but this 'Berghaus Schröcken' is simply the best we have ever stayed in. Especially the people working there are so different to other hotels or resorts: they have a smile on their face and you can see that they love doing their job... It's definitely a great place to stay for a family wanting to spend some days in the Austrian Alps, doing some biking, discovering the great nature of the Bregenzerwald...

This was our second year in a row at the Alpenstern. The hotel has a superb location right at the piste and an all day long sunny terrace. The rooms are beautiful and the pool and spa with the panoramic sauna are an absolut highlight. The hotel offers a big and tasty breakfast buffet and delicious 3 course dinner option. Altogether, the hotel has everything you need for a relaxing skiing holiday.

Excellent room - quiet and peaceful - the only sound at night was the tinkling of cow bells! The staff were amazing, and the facilities like the pool and sauna were perfect. Their restaurant is outstanding, providing locally sourced food as well as some dishes with a Thai influence. The village is a delight, with a nice cafe (Stopp) and friendly locals. We chose this hotel as it was a convenient stop on our long drive across Europe, and were so pleased we did. A real highlight of our trip and highly recommended.

We booked the hotel because they had pictures of cake and what a great decision it was. Completely enjoyed ourselves. The check-in was uncomplicated. The parking garage for the Auto was conveniently located. The staff were extremely friendly. The facilities were excellent and the food was terrific. I would recommend it and will return.

Excellent stay. The owners are providing excellent service. The hotel is very comfortable ( room was clean and spacefull ) with large ski room and boots heather wich is very convenient. A big parking is also available for hotel guests. Breakfast buffet was perfect. Welness area is perfect and very clean with pool, hammam, sauna and relaxing area.

My stay at this alpine-style hotel was exceptional. Just a few steps away from the city center, its warm, family-owned atmosphere made me and my dog feel right at home. The cozy decor and incredible food added to the charm. Dinners were exceptional, variating from local to international cuisine. The staff's kindness extended to helping me explore the beautiful hiking trails, making the experience even more enjoyable. Michael and the staff were amazingly hospitable and attentive to our every need. This pet-friendly gem is a true find, and I'm already looking forward to returning.
