The Outrigger Reef Resort was amazing. The hotel front desk staff are so friendly, efficient and caring of the guests. The valets are very prompt, kind and take exceptional care of your vehicle. I appreciated the professional, yet very friendly conversations the valet staff and manager provided throughout my week stay. The front desk staff were so helpful in providing me answers to all my questions on events, travel and a few needs that came up for my room stay. By my second day at the hotel, I felt very comfortable with the staff and my way to navigate around Waikiki. The onsite dine in restaurant has wonderful food and drinks. The daily breakfast is outstanding, felt like a high level chef prepared the meals and their prices are affordable. The bar/restaurant outside in the open pool area was amazing. Food and drinks so good and the entertainment each night was wonderful and so authentic to the Hawaiian atmosphere. Our room was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. Hotel cleaning staff were so kind and kept our towels fresh each day and our room was always so tidy when we returned from our site seeing each day. This was my first time at the Outrigger and I plan on returning in 2024 for another wonderful trip.

Complete with a microwave, the dining area also has a refrigerator. Featuring a shower, private bathroom also comes with a bath and a hairdryer. You can enjoy sea view from the room. Extras include an outdoor seating area, bed linen and a fan. Thanks for your hospitality. It’s a good place to stay when visiting the Big Island.

Love the location! You can see multiple islands from the resort. While having an oceanfront lunch we were greeted by two humpback whales breaching. Amazing experience!

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Kenji at the reception accommodated all our extras. Pools and beach access are great for swimming and relaxing. You can rest peacefully and enjoy the view comfortably, watching the sunset by the sea. All around are the sounds of insects, birds and the wind blowing through the tropical jungle. The room is large and tidy, and incredibly clean. The kitchen is well-equipped with all kinds of appliances and seasonings. This place is a perfect home. And it only takes a few minutes by car to reach Walmart and many nice restaurants. Thanks to the landlord and the cleaning staff. This stay is unforgettable. The only regret is that I only planned to stay in Kona for one day. I really should have stayed here for the entire vacation.
