We brought our own with us :) houses are situated away from road - you don’t listen to cars, but roosters instead 😄 surrounding area is safe for walking dogs. I was looking for separate pet-friendly place with hot tub outside and I can surely say this place suits best. Overall this is a decent place for its money.

I had a truly lovely stay at Penzion Zázrifka. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed—it felt less like checking into a guesthouse and more like being invited into someone’s home. Thanks to their tips, I discovered places I probably wouldn’t have found on my own. The room was cozy and clean, the location peaceful, and the whole experience felt personal and relaxed. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and friendly place to stay.

Units have a kettle, while some rooms also boast a balcony and others also feature mountain views. At the guest house, units are fitted with bed linen and towels. Breakfast was a Slovak classic and quite okay. The location of the guesthouse is excellent, right below Orava Castle and close to several ski resorts in the area.

Calm place, close to nature, dark and starry sky at night, spacious balcony with comfortable chairs, hammocks in the garden, friendly staff, tasty breakfast included. Very good lunch - veggie burger and chicken breast steak. All those made my stay a very good experience there. It is worth adding that guests also have access to a jacuzzi, saunas, a bowling alley and a small gym.
