The apartment was huge, fully equipped and very functional. Nice beds, A/C working to cool or heat. Fully equipped kitchen, with a couple of little gifts inside (like jam for instance). Easy to find. Very kind and friendly staff.

Located in the middle of an archaeological site from the Roman period. Part of the nearby woods is a bird reserve. A hiking route starts from the property and leads to the hill peak. Friendliness and politeness of the lady that welcomed us, despite the error I did while booking. We arrived one day before the booking and well after the check-in time, but the room was ready and it has been given to us, first the single night we spent there. The place is exceptionally quiet, the position is great, it's clean and the breakfast is one of the best I've ever had during my stays. The products are almost all self grown or made. The city is at walking distance among the greens and the panorama is gorgeous!

The home made cakes were also delicious! The staff is very friendly and welcoming, always smiling. On the property there is a mini golf course and a big playground. There is also enough parking spaces. This was a already our third stay here and we will definitely come back next year!

It is located 32 km from Ptuj Golf Course and offers private check-in and check-out. The bed and breakfast features family rooms. The owners are so kind and hospitable. We felt like at home. Do opt for the dinner option, the meal was huge and tasted exceptionally well. All ingredients in the dinner and the breakfast are high quality without artificial flavours. Don't expect a hotel breakfast with 50 meals to choose from that you don't want to eat anyway. The breakfast is top quality, less quantity. Local juices, hams, sausages, cheese, yoghurt, warm crunchy pastry, eggs made just for you.. Finally a good coffee machine with beans, available throughout the day! Room was big, clean, modern. TV has hdmi, usb. Wifi is high speed. There are also some basic board games (chess, puzzle..,), books. Location ideal for walking directly on foot without having to drive anywhere. We spent two nights on the way driving from the south and would have stayed longer.

Great location in a quiet, peaceful setting outside of the city, but close from highway exit with pizza restaurant at a walking distance, we liked private check in with lockbox which gave us check in flexibility and no need of personal intetaction as we arrived late and vere tired. Parking was s big bonus! Apartment is clean and spacious. We had a great stay .

I rarely go to trouble in order to write an extensive review, but i must say this for our host, Peter: Nowadays, when almost every accomodation is cold and faceless, you get some code or some keys and never get to see your host, who most probably is a company that bought 10 apartments, Peter is a rarity, an oasis. It's a real home, taken care of impeccably, with every amenity one can need, super clean and spacious, but what wins hearts immediately is the small gestures of kindness, like the home-grown tomatoes or the eggs from Peter's chicken waiting for us in the fridge. The apartment looks brand new, nicely furnished and equipped with everything. Markovci is a really nice village, with nice people.
