We left a piece of our heart at Hiša Pečovnik. The location is outstanding: On a mountain, surrounded by woods and with an incredible view. The house is really cozy, all wooden inside, both in the common areas and in the rooms, and very well looked after. The breakfast (included) and dinner (not included, but 100% recommended) are out of this world. They have a lot of local or auto-produced products and the cook is incredibly gifted. There also is a big fitness area, as well as a Jacuzzi and sauna, which we had the chance to try and truly enjoyed. Nearby there are many beautiful things to visit, such as the Logarska Dolina, Velika Planina and much more (Slovenian Alps are breathtaking). But what truly makes this place one in a million is the Pečovnik family. They are the kindest hosts imaginable: always welcoming, attentive, and genuinely sweet. We’ve just left, and we’re already dreaming of coming back as soon as possible!

The pictures provided here are nice but they don’t nearly do justice to how pretty this establishment is. One of the rare cases of more beautiful in real life than on the pictures! Wonderful apartment with picturesque view over Luče. Well equipped, well maintained, and extremely clean. 5-10 minute walk to the center. Perfect departure point for exploring the stunning nature and surroundings. The host and her dog are amazing. Responds quickly to messages and is very attentive. We booked just bare minutes before our arrival and still she managed to arrange a perfect reception for us. We were very happy with our stay and hopefully get the chance to return some day!

Sonja(the host) is also a master craftsman, she has deliriously crafted artifacts and showpieces out of wood herself and your hotel rooms are decorated by them. The breakfast is splendid, don’t miss it !!!! The experience, hospitality, peace of mind outweighs the price you pay. In a nutshell , I LOVED IT !!!! If you do visit logarska dolina , do stop by “guesthouse S” , You won’t regret it !!

We got a bit lost trying to find it as google maps told us we had arrived when we were by the pub at the bottom. The house is another kilometer up the hill.
