Gave me a tour of the place and ensured I had key. I liked my name on the board outside the door too. Made me feel appreciated. Kitchen had essential items to cook and make coffee. We were only there 1 night to break up a longer journey, but intend to stay longer next time to enjoy the experiences they offer i.e. skiing, snow mobile excursions etc. Bonus = best gym I've seen in a hotel.

The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

We spent five magical nights here, and we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights right from inside our room almost every single night! It was an unforgettable experience. The facilities are top-notch, offering everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The staff is incredibly helpful and pleasant, always ready to assist with a smile. Their hospitality truly made us feel welcome. One of the highlights of our stay was the amazing food. The breakfast is of such high quality—fresh, delicious, and with so many great options. Lunch was also fantastic, with well-prepared meals that tasted incredible. Everything about this place exceeded our expectations, and we are already planning to come back again! If you're looking for the perfect stay in Kiruna, we highly recommend Camp Ripan!
