Perched in nature yet within reach of beautiful trails, Zaovine Lake, and local attractions, it’s ideal for both peace and exploration. We loved having gorgeous walking paths close by and being immersed in serenity away from city noise. But what truly sets this place apart is the host, Dragana. She was warm, responsive, and went above and beyond welcoming us, sharing local tips, and even surprising us with homemade treats. Her hospitality elevated the entire experience. If you’re seeking a tranquil escape in the Serbian mountains, one that balances comfort, character, and nature: Drvene kuće ŠUŠKA is a gem. We are already planning our return!

Staying in this lake house was an incredible and unique experience, unlike anything we’ve ever done before. The location is absolutely stunning, set within a national park with beautiful views all around. It’s definitely the most original accommodation we've ever stayed at. The outdoor grill added a cozy touch to our dinners, and having two SUP boards included made for a fantastic opportunity to get active and explore the surroundings.
