The room is very nice and clean , so comfortable to stay. The staff are so accommodating and very nice. Location is good .

The place is secluded so the only thing we heard at night was the rainfall which was soothing!

If you are looking for wholesome people and peaceful place to go home to after your day in the island, this is one of the best hostel you can get. I never felt that I was staying in an hostel, Kayan felt like home to me because of its ambience and staff. The kuyas and ates there are very kind and accommodating no matter what you nationality is. Even though there are still construction going on in the area, it is not that disturbing and you won't even feel it at all. As an introvert who is very sensitive to where she stays and who surrounds her on a daily basis, I would give Kayan a 10/10! :)
