They provided breakfast early enough (6am) to support our tour schedule. The walls are decorated with local culture paintings. One was being worked on while we were there. The hotel is very clean and very close to the main plaza and restaurants.

Rooms are cute. Cute, quiet, little town, with some nice little hikes around. Definitely hands on hosts who are happy to show you some hikes, go with you on some of them, let you feed their alpacas, share a campfire with you.

Good value for the money. ENORMOUS bed like I’ve never seen before and very comfortable. We stayed only one night during a Colca canyon tour and it was really worth it. We had a hot thermos and some teas and coca leaves. The breakfast early enough and prefect (it’s a buffet). And it’s very close to the plaza de armas.

The room has a balcony too and I really enjoyed the sunset there. The grandparents running the hotel are the warmest people. I was quite upset at a tour agency upon arrival. They kept checking on me when I’m downstairs to make sure I’m ok. And they told the guide to look after me. It’s so nice to have people like this when travelling overseas.
