The experience itself is really cool, but you need to put on a lot of clothes because it is going to be cold. You will never forget the water bottle.

With inner courtyard views, this accommodation features a patio. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the outdoor fireplace, or enjoy views of the mountain and lake. Richar and his family are so warm and welcoming. They told us about life on the island and showed us where we could go for the most beautiful walks. Food was great and bed was comfortable and warm with view over the lake and sunrise. We stayed two nights and I highly recommend this!

Lina and her family were incredibly welcoming and couldn’t have been more helpful. She arranged transfer to and from port anytime I needed, booked taxis and even recommended/arranged tour guides. Dinner and breakfast were also delicious, a nice chance to chat with the hosts and other guests. Nights are pretty cold but I was given plenty warm blankets and hot water bottles. The sunset over the lake is beautiful - definitely an experience I’d recommend!

We felt so welcomed and really enjoyed conversations with the family, even through our broken Spanish. Mariluz is a wonderful cook and made sure we were well taken care of. Such a lovely and calm two nights on Amantani, and a highlight of our month in Peru.

Rates at this all-inclusive property include breakfast, lunch and dinner. We only had one night to spend at Uros Semarana Uta Lodge and we regret it was only this much. It was an amazing time, Cesar is very friendly and very responsive. He arranged our pick up from the train station and took us with his boat from the taxi. He and Lucy prepared an amazing stay for us, the house is very clean and comfortable and the food was delicious. The next day we didn't have anything planned so Cesar took us to a tour around the islands, explained to us everything about their community, arranged for a totora boat trip and gave us an amazing time learning a lot of stuff. Him and Lucy are such warm and friendly persons, it was so nice to be guests in their home and we recommend to pass their door step and get to know them, you will have an amazing time.

Rooms here all offer great views of the highest navigable lake in the world and have been built with wood and totora reef, all decorated in local elements. Rooms with private bathrooms can be found. Towels are provided and there is 24-hour hot water. It was better then aspected, clean with a lots of character, amazing view, best family ever, warm, ready to help anytime, Delia is an incredible host and cook, Wilber her husband transported us back and forth to any destination we needed to be. They organized everything for you. I highly recommend to anyone is going there.
