Super nice place with such a lovely staff ! Especially Yoshi was so nice and gave me tips for my stay and what to do and to see! Great breakfast and very quiet even though it is 200 meters from the plaza de armas. Would absolutely recommend it!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Spirit of the River Lodge! Nestled by the river, the lodge boasts incredible room designs and breathtaking window views that make you feel one with nature. Rodi’s tour of the Inca sites was nothing short of extraordinary—his passion and knowledge brought the history and spirit of the area to life. If you can, ask him to be your guide; you’ll gain so much insight and connection to the Sacred Valley! Claudia’s cooking was equally remarkable—each meal was a masterpiece filled with love and flavor. And, of course, we can’t forget Tupac, their adorable and friendly llama. My stay here was exceptional, mainly due to the great hospitality of the owners, who are both very warm and kind people. Romulo has a passion for history and gave me an impromptu guided tour of the very nearby Inca trail and some key sites along the way. The location is excellent, within walking distance of downtown Cuzco but above all the noise, right next to an important park with the Temple of the Moon and other historic sites. My room was large and comfortable, breakfast was great, I was given a hot water bottle every evening. Highly recommend!

The owners were fantastic, they greeted us with fresh orange juice, assisted us and other travellers with anything we needed. Outside the room there is a terrace where we could hang out. The breakfast was fantastic, and Mery was very friendly :)
